A Saint Johner, UNB Saint John graduate, community volunteer and sport enthusiast is how I am self-described. I recently worked at UNB Saint John in the Alumni Department as a TD Fellow. There are only two TD Fellows to be chosen each year from across Canada, what a small world it is, as I am working with another TD Fellow, my colleague Erica Lind (University of Lethbridge).
I recently started my journey as the Collaborative Development Officer, which consists of establishing the elements necessary to create a collaborative culture in the Social Enterprise Hub. The Social Enterprise Hub (Hub) is currently under construction at 139 Prince Edward Street beside our current location, it is a three story collaborative space, allowing non-profits and social enterprises to work together to reduce poverty (check out our blog post below for more about the Hub).
Working as part of a team to make a difference in my community is important to me, which makes the Community Loan Fund a great fit. If you have any questions about the Social Enterprise Hub, know of a great tenant for our space or you want to grab a coffee and chat about the Hub reach out to me.
Let’s work together to make a difference in Saint John.
Feel free to drop by during construction or in Fall 2016 to see the completed Hub!
