Financing Programs

Our financing helps both individuals and organizations go after opportunity; whether to create income or build assets.

Loans

Loans can help you get back to work, start a business or used for social enterprises focused on poverty reduction. Our loans are not urgent or emergency loans. Organizations can borrow up to $50,000 and individuals up to $7,500.

Judi Chisholm Financial Literacy Grant

Judy Chisholm was a former employee of the Loan Fund who died of cancer. To honour her we set up this Award, given annually to a past participant who actively uses their financial literacy knowledge.

Matched Savings

The Loan Fund provides an incentive to save in both our Assets and Enterprising Women programs by matching participant savings 3 to 1. Savings  can be used to purchase computers, tools, education costs, and repairs. We are also looking at piloting the program to a wider audience.
