The Saint John Community Loan Fund completed construction of the Social Enterprise Hub in the Fall of 2016. The Hub, as it is affectionately called, is fully occupied with incredibly motivated tenants. The Hub was envisioned as a space where we scale an enterprising culture for poverty reduction. To do this we intentionally brought together organizations that contributed to that goal. They include enterprising non-profit organizations, social enterprises, and micro-enterprises. Together we have begun to develop a collaborative culture that includes space sharing, equipment sharing, event development and hosting, as well as staff sharing and joint venturing on enterprises and new project proposals. Its early yet, only a few months in, but we see some awesome results. We invite you to come into the space and experience change in action! Here are the enterprises and organizations you’ll find:
Atlantic Coastal Action Program (ACAP SJ)
Saint John Community Loan Fund
Saint John Human Development Council (HDC)
Saint John Learning Exchange
