Money Matter$ Financial Literacy

Money Matter$ is designed to help you or your clients understand and control their financial world. The course includes five classes that cover Assets, Budgeting, Banking, Credit and Consumerism.

Enterprising Women

Enterprising Women is a business training program for women facing employment barriers and with limited independent income.  This is 15-week program  helps you build skills as you define  prepare to launch your business.

Business modelling and other short courses

The Loan Fund also offers periodically, open courses on business modelling, using social media, doing business research, and developing business plans.

Social Enterprise 101

A social enterprise  sells goods and services and invests the majority of profits back into social, cultural or environmental goals. You will learn about social enterprises types, legal elements, financing, and begin ideation and business modelling.

Youth Entrepreneurship Summer Program

The Loan Fund loves to work with youth each summer to help them learn basic enterprise skills. These skills are business skills and essential skills for development. They include goal setting, analysis, time management, and creative thinking.

Assets

Assets is a full year program that helps individuals transition to work. The program combines in class instruction with coaching and also a matched savings program. The savings program enables you to save up to $900 in the year.

Help Support the Loan Fund

Donations and investments help finance skill building, enterprise development, employment creation and neighbourhood renewal.  Volunteers can help with networking, opportunity development, marketing, mentorship, accounting, strategy, and vision.
